I saw Sigur ros several years ago in a small tent at pukkelpop (coldplay played that day at the same small stage) and i was overwhelmed! I have seen tour 2006 on the video. Person who was singing a song (I don't know the name of the song) with the guitar, like an angel! Beautiful! It makes me cry of happy. This was a very intense summer. On July 11th, three important things happened. At 12:00am, I turned eighteen. I had just had a fight with a girl whom I was madly in love with, but for complicated reasons could not be with. I decided to fall asleep listening to Agaetis Byrjun. At 12:33am, I was listening to Staralfur when she came into my bed and told me that she loved me with everything she had. We fell asleep together and it was perfect. Twelve hours later, I received a phone call informing me that one of my closest friends had passed away earlier that morning. I went home and put on ( ). Throughout the ensuing days of extreme happiness and extreme grief, Sigur Ros was with me for the entire journey. I cannot thank you enough. The girl (C) and I decided to purchase Heima and watch it together. So, on one of our last nights together, we did--and everything was simply perfect. Due to reasons outside of our control, C had to return to her country, one seven times zones away from mine. Whenever the pain of missing her is too much, I put on some Sigur Ros and let the pain drift away as I dream of those perfect moments. Thank you.

Not sure who might be listening, but I am greatly discouraged upon finding that the only tickets available to your concert in Portland, OR are those that have been purchased by companies and that are now being sold for $97 and above. I can not afford such tickets and am shocked that there are not more protections against such things. I am disappointed that you have chosen to play at a venue that allows such things to cccur.

the concert in milan was incredible: thunders and rain made it wonderful, the atmosphere was amazing and the group showed its whole power of suggestion.. and I also spoke to Jonsi: he's a very kind and nice guy.. thank you to be sigur ros, sigur ros.. waiting for you to come again in italy!!

I tried to get tickets to the Vancouver show last week, however, the show sold out in 7 minutes! Tickets are now available online from 200$-535$! I am apalled with these private sales and those whose intent is making money off of this show. It's disappointing to know that greed is taking over these individuals, resulting in unaffordable ticket prices. I really wanted to go to the show (and still do) however will not be paying the profiteers.

I just love the new album, so happy to experience it biking to and from work up into the mountains and rainforest. After years of sadly watching profiles on tv about your concerts in some beautiful churches in Toronto/Vancouver, I finally thought I had a chance to see you in Vancouver! My husband was on the laptop at noon waiting and ready to go and the show was sold out in minutes. then within half an hour scalper sites(run by ticketmaster) were selling tickets for hundreds of dollars. This is wrong! Ticketmaster has been under the hot seat over the last few weeks in Canada because of the practice. Fans should be able to buy all the tickets at the set price. I am upset for I wanted to be cascaded with your sonar beauty and sublimeness! Any chance of adding a show in Vancouver? Otherwise we might have to resort to scalp city!

Hi everyone, i listen to Sigur Ros for a long time now (since Agaetis...) and i like them even a bit more than the roundabout 500 artists i also listen to and like. The only band as good as Sigur Ros is (late) Talk Talk in my eyes! Of course, i´ll visit the upcoming tour (Cologne / Germany) and i´m sure it´ll be great again. This time i have a very special wish: i want to hear Fljótavik. I got a serious illness a few years ago and just now it´s getting better. And when it became clear that i can be healthy again the new album came out and when i listened to Fljótavik i cried out in unbelievable joy and i still do almost every time i hear it. To hear this live could bring me to collapse of pleasure, but i would dare it ;-) Also i would like to here songs like All Alright, Vidrar, Glosoli, Heysatan and many more. Indeed they can play what they want, i love it all! But right now Fljótavik most and it will always be one of my favourites of them! Love and best wishes to you all!
